I'm still early on in the Couch to 5k program- which means my running is as much walking as it is running- which puts me at about a 12 and a half minute mile when I run two or three miles. Which is really, really, really slow.

Slow or not, this morning's run/walk was pretty good. A temperature in the low 80s certainly helped it be much more pleasant than the last couple of times I've run.

I think I'll make a specialized playlist for my next run to match up with my time running and time walking.

My friend is doing the Couch to 5k program and she loves it. I hear it's great, except another blogger was talking about it (I think) and saying she got the podcasts (?) that go along with them and she thought they were kind of boring.

I think your playlist plan is a great idea (especially since I do the same thing). I'm not sure what your workout music type is, but I've got some stuff on my blog that you can download. It's under one of my running posts. Maybe the 13 miler? or 12?

How are the shoes?

Good luck with the running. I wish you were here. We could run together. I don't feel real safe running alone on my neighborhood trail. It is really wooded, and kinda scary for me. oh yeah... I think we are going to go to be in the kzoo the first weekend of September. Hope to see you there!!!!
